Speaker 1:

Jan. I am a student at University of Houston, I'm a regional consumerist with a minor in human resource development, and I've been here for nine months now. It's a really long time, almost 10 months. So journey is one of my favorite principles, because you don't know until the end of the journey. Everything makes sense. At the end of the journey it's like all the puzzle pieces falling in and then you see the whole picture at the end.

Speaker 2:

so that's my favorite principle alex vazquez, I go to georgia mason university and I've been with new heart for life community and since february, and my favorite principle would probably be consistency, because you just need to be consistent and determined with everything you do in order to achieve an outcome.

Speaker 1:

It's a really good one. I do agree. Consistency makes all the difference. Alex Ryan, introduce yourself.

Speaker 3:

Introduce yourself. Hi, I'm Alex. I go to St Bonnish University and my favorite principal is teammates, teammates.

Speaker 1:

How long have you been with us? I've been here since last November. That's a really long time.

Speaker 4:

Hi, my name is Annika Shazitz, university of Arizona. I've been with New Heart for Life since I think last semester, around like February probably and my favorite principal definitely is I'll do grit.

Speaker 1:

Okay, gabby, introduce yourself, and what's your favorite principal? And yeah, all the principles are now on the screen awesome.

Speaker 5:

Hi, my name is gabrielle um. I go to towson university, I'm a senior marketing major and I've been with the community since about last november, so I've definitely seen a lot of exciting changes and growth, which, which is amazing to see, and I'd say, right now, my favorite principle would have to be routine, because it's definitely something that I use every single day, whether it's big or small.

Speaker 1:

That's a really good one, gilbert, introduce yourself.

Speaker 6:

Hello, my name is Gilbert. I'm a junior at the University of California Irvine. I'm a starter, so today's my first day, and my favorite principle would probably be goal, because if you have a goal, I feel like it leads to many of the other principles.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to our community, and I do agree. Do agree, goals are very important. You can't keep shooting and expecting to hit things. If you don't have a goal, danny, introduce yourself.

Speaker 7:

Oh hi, yes, my name is Danny. I attend Lamar University down here in Texas. I've been with the New Heart for Life community since around April, I believe, and my favorite principle would have to be is recovery, because I believe recovery and rest is important. Anything that you do you don't want to burn yourself out, whether it be working with schoolwork or if you're working on your fitness life. I believe recovery is an important process of everything.

Speaker 1:

Like Dan mentioned in one of our previous meetings, like this, your muscles build during recovery, even though you work out. That's not when your muscles are being built. It's during recovery you're actually building muscle mass. So, yes, recovery is very important. And Talisa, am I saying your name right?

Speaker 8:

Yes, I go to UC San Diego, I'm a business econ major. I go to UC San Diego, I'm a business econ major and I think my favorite principle is change, because it really shows like you're willing to make an effort to like better yourself and understand and acknowledge what you're needing to go through.

Speaker 1:

That's a really good one, isa. What's your favorite principle, and introduce yourself too.

Speaker 4:

Hi, my name is Isa. I'm a senior marketing major at the University of Texas at Dallas. I would say and I've been here since January I would say my favorite would be motivation, because personally, that's what helps me keep going through my education and my career and what I want to pursue in life, and I just think it's very important.

Speaker 1:

It is very important, anastasia, introduce yourself.

Speaker 9:

So, hello everyone, I'm Anastasia and I'm from Belarus, so I perform my kind of informational resource management degree, the second year, the second course. So let's say, and uh, considering principle, it's the hardest question uh, I have ever met because, uh, every single principle is uh correlated with each other. So, uh, I don't know, I don't really know, but, um, my favorite, let's say, it's coach or act. So I haven't decided yet. It's like a life or a situation and according to this I can choose the principle and I'll follow it. So, basically, okay, let's let it be six yes, also guys.

Speaker 1:

Anastasia recently translated the 21 principles book into german and russian, so do make sure to check it out I'm vladislav mokosh and I've been since.

Speaker 10:

I've been over a month in this community and I'm the in the second year of school of business university and I'm in marketing, of course, and so I say there are a lot of principles that I'd like, but maybe decide, it's going to be better to say something about me, or my way in some sports, or my friends, because decide or decision is one of the hardest choices that you ever make and you need to understand not only your inner voice but all the just, uh, just some mistakes that you can make in the future with this decision very wise moves.

Speaker 1:

Margie, she's our lead instagram ambassador. She's the one behind all the cool instagram posts you see, so introduce yourself oh my god, such a sweet introduction.

Speaker 11:

Yeah, I'm margie. Um, I go to richmond in london, I'm in my third year and I study communications and media studies. Um, I think my favorite principle is probably lessons. I like to say there's a lesson in everything, so that one kind of sticks with me it's a really good one.

Speaker 1:

Margie Abraham, introduce yourself.

Speaker 12:

Hi, I go to Illinois State University in Bloomington and I am a IMC major, which is integrated marketing communications, and I'd say that my favorite principle would have to be consistency, simply because, as someone with ADHD, I feel like consistency is pretty key to in order to mitigate, you know, a lot of the symptoms that come with like having, like you know, deficient disorder, and like being able to focus and be consistent in itself.

Speaker 1:

I like the wall decor and background of yours the boxes.

Speaker 13:

Zach. Hi, I'm Zach. I'm a graduate at Eastern Community, I mean Eastern Connecticut State University. My favorite principle, I would say, is probably change, or journey, mostly just because humans are like you know. We're creatures that live for a lot of years and we process time slower than, I would say, every other animal. Like we process things, you know, like everything just is slower. So we have to go through a lot of changes, and being able to accept change and be ready for it is the best thing you can do to adapt to everything. You know so because you can't really predict how your life will go.

Speaker 1:

So yes, and we should always be changing and adapting to new methods and growing as individuals.

Speaker 14:

Uh, federico, now it's your turn oh hi, my name is federico and I'm from brazil, uh, but now I study economics in portugal and, um, my favorite principle well, I'm I've been in your heart for life, for almost a year now and my favorite principle is teammates, because it's something that's been really important to me, especially since I moved to another country, to another continent, and well, I think I can't go anywhere without teammates.
